$30K grant will support outdoor classroom and curriculum in district
The Hudson School District has received a $30,000 grant from the Wisconsin Environmental Education Board to develop an outdoor education curriculum. Hudson Middle School science teacher and Hudson School Forest project director Cindy Landers wrote the grant. She said it will be used to build an outdoor classroom and storage area, acquire field resources and equipment and construct some information kiosks. A portion will also be used for teacher training and curriculum development for all Hudson students.By Meg Heaton , July 30, 2010
