A pair of St. Paul men who apparently got waylaid on the tubing trip down the Kinnickinnic River late Sunday, were found by a Minnesota State Patrol helicopter early Monday and led to safety by park rangers.
New forecasts for levels of the Jamestown and Pipestem dams are 1 to 2 feet higher than earlier estimates, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers said in a press release Friday evening. The new forecasts factor in the precipitation that occurred through the end of March.
