Residents warned of river dangers
The Jamestown City Engineer’s office is reminding people to use caution around the James River and Pipestem Creek below the dams. The warning follows an incident Saturday when a dog fell through the ice in southwest Jamestown. No other incidents have been reported, according to Reed Schwartzkopf, city engineer.February 11, 2010
