Mike Burkel and Slush Copter

Mike Burkel of Badger, Minn., assembles a Slush Copter in his shop. Burkel, who invented the new device for clearing slush from ice fishing holes, said sales of the product have been brisk since hitting the market about three weeks ago. A battery-powered drill runs the Slush Copter, which creates a whirlpool- like effect in the water to force slush down the hole. Submitted photo
