Pike biting at Amisk, but still waiting on walleyes

A strong east wind plagues us, and after three hours of fishing in Warehouse Bay without a strike, Dave and I start packing rods away in preparation for the boat run to camp. We are fishing Amisk Lake, Saskatchewan. It is Dave’s second trip to the lake, and my 40th over the course of 44 years.
