FORT TOTTEN, N.D. – Sullys Hill National Game Preserve here is hosting a Duck Stamp Camp for youths in grades K-12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jan. 12.
Each participant will learn about a North American species of waterfowl of their choice as well as the habitat it lives in by creating a drawing that will be entered into the Junior Duck Stamp Art Contest.
All artwork materials will be provided. Student entries will compete in the statewide event and the artwork will be judged in March. Participants will be judged in four groups according to grade level.
Three first, second and third place, along with 16 honorable mention entries are selected from each group. A Best of Show is selected from the 12 first-place winners and is entered in the national Junior Duck Stamp Contest.
