Pining for sunny days spent on the water?
Well, the Red River Valley Boat and Marine Products Show may be just the place to do your daydreaming.
Kicking off Friday and running through Sunday at the Fargodome, the 19th anniversary of the boat show will feature vessels of all shapes and sizes, as well as marine accessories like boat lifts, docks and trailers.
The boats on display will be 2010 and 2011 models.
As in past years, the show will offer free seminars by fishing professionals.
Speakers will include Jason Mitchell of Devils Lake, N.D., who will cover “Catching Walleyes with Soft Plastics,” and Kelley Cirks from Fishing Pro-Mo’s, who will explain “How to Use Electronics to Catch More Fish.”
Anglers who can’t wait until spring can wet a line at the live-trout pond.
Successful anglers can practice catch-and-release or take their catch home.
