Waterfowl seasons

MINNESOTA Duck seasons: North Zone — Sept. 22 to Nov. 20; Central Zone — Sept. 22-30 and Oct. 6-Nov. 25; South Zone — Sept. 22-30 and Oct. 13 to Dec. 2 (See map for boundaries)

MINNESOTA

Duck seasons: North Zone — Sept. 22 to Nov. 20; Central Zone — Sept. 22-30 and Oct. 6-Nov. 25; South Zone — Sept. 22-30 and Oct. 13 to Dec. 2 (See map for boundaries)

Limits: Six ducks daily; may not include more than four mallards (two hen mallards); four scaup; three wood ducks; two pintails; two redheads, one black duck; one canvasback. Possession limit is twice the daily limit.

Goose seasons: North Zone — Sept. 22-Dec. 16; Central Zone — Sept. 22-30 and Oct. 6-Dec. 21; South Zone — Sept. 22-30 and Oct. 13-Dec. 28.

Limits: Three Canada geese, 20 Light geese and one white-front or Brandt goose.

Shooting hours: One-half hour before sunrise to 4 p.m. from Sept. 22 through Oct. 6, and until sunset thereafter.


WISCONSIN

Duck season: Northern Zone — Sept. 22-Nov. 4 and Nov. 10-25; Southern Zone — Sept. 29-Oct. 7 and Oct. 13-Dec. 2; Mississippi River Zone — Sept. 22- 30 and Oct. 13-Dec. 2

Limits: Six ducks in total; no more than four mallards, of which only one may be a hen; three wood ducks; one black duck; two redheads; four scaup; two pintail; and one canvasback. For species of duck not listed such as teal and ring-necks, the combined total with all other species may not exceed six ducks.

Hours: Opening day shooting hours will begin at 9 a.m.; for other daily hours, consult regulations.

Canada goose season: Exterior Zone — North, Sept. 16 to Nov. 4 and Nov. 10 to Dec. 21; South, Sept. 16 to Oct. 7 and Oct. 13 to Dec. 21; daily limit of two. Horicon Zone — H1 is Sept. 16 to Oct. 28; H2 is Oct. 29 to Dec. 16. Daily bag of two; six tags per hunter.
