Dawn Winskowski sturgeon

Dawn Winskowski of Stephen, Minn., caught this 59½-inch sturgeon April 17 near the mouth of the Rainy River. The fish had a girth of 25 inches and weighed about 59 pounds, based on the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources’ length-girth formula.
