More than 35,000 N.D. deer gun licenses remain

The Game and Fish Department recently completed its lottery drawing. The remaining licenses will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no limit to the number of licenses a hunter can receive.

BISMARCK— State wildlife officials say more than 35,000 antlerless deer gun licenses are still available in North Dakota.

The Game and Fish Department recently completed its lottery drawing. The remaining licenses will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no limit to the number of licenses a hunter can receive.

North Dakota's deer license lottery had 94,000 applicants, tying the record set in each of the last two years.

The regular deer gun season opens at noon Nov. 6 and continues through Nov. 22.
