Cross Ranch holding winter festival

The Cross Ranch State Park Winter Festival is from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday. Blaze a own trail snowshoeing or glide along the park’s groomed ski trails. There will be other activities as well, such as a horse-drawn sled/wagon ride around the park and programs inside the River Peoples Visitor Center including “Nature CSI: Who Dunnit?” and “Winter Animals.”

To keep visitors warm there is plenty of hot cider and soup. Participants are asked to bring skis/snowshoes, however, the park will have several additional pairs of skis available to borrow. The festival will take place no matter what type of snow conditions are present.
