Area Cross Country Ski Trail Conditions
Lake Bemidji State Park: Groomed and tracked on Tuesday and in good skiing condition. NOTE: Lake Bemidji State Park has 16-km of double classical tracks and is listed as easy to intermediate.
Montebello Trail: Was scheduled to be groomed Thursday morning. NOTE: Montebello Trail has 2-km of lighted skate and classical track and is listed as easy.
Movil Maze: Conditions are very good and trail was groomed and tracked Wednesday. NOTE: Movil Maze has 14-km of skate lane and classical track and is listed as intermediate to expert.
Hobson Forest: Was packed and tracked last weekend and is scheduled to be groomed again before this weekend. NOTE: Hobson Forest has 7-km of double classical tracks and is listed as easy to intermediate.
Three Island County Park: Groomers have packed and re-rolled the trails. Tracking is scheduled for tonight so the tracks will set up. The North Loop is still too wet and signs are posted in logging areas where there is no grooming. NOTE: Three Island has more than 20-km of skate lane and classical track and is listed as easy to intermediate.
Buena Vista: Last weekend volunteers cleared the west side so it could be rolled and combed. More snow is needed, however, and the east side needs additional freezing before any grooming action can commence. NOTE: Buena Vista has 25-km of skate lane and classical track and is listed as intermediate to expert.
Fern Lake: A new trail, Fern Lake has skied-in tracks.
BHS Nordic Trail: A new trail, it is re-combed and tracked and skiing is good. NOTE: Trail access is behind the high school at the west end by the maintenance building. Minnesota ski pass is needed unless you are a Bemidji School District student.
