Emergency workers responded to a call at 7:15 p.m. Friday at Cameron Park in response to a report that a man may have been run over by boat trailer.

According to a report by the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office:

The man, Eric Edward Kirschner, fell off the trailer that he was riding as his friend, Tyler Michael Flom, was moving it.

Flom thought he could have run over Kirschner with the left trailer tire. Kirschner himself was unsure as to whether he was run over or injured. He was dazed and may have hit his head.

He was taken to North Country Regional Hospital where he was treated and released.

Neither the Ford Explorer nor the Shoreline trailer with a Lund boat was damaged.
