2016 NAHRA Invitational: In Pictures

2016 NAHRA Invitational: In Pictures

The North American Hunting Retriever Association, (NAHRA), held their annual Invitational in Clear Lake, Wisconsin June 8 – 11. The top dogs from all over the country competed in hunt tests put on by various NAHRA chapters. They were invited to take part in the Invitational event in June.

NAHRA puts on a series of hunt tests for dogs and handlers from beginner to senior levels. They compete against a series of standards in upland, waterfowl and other tests that simulate authentic hunting situations.  You can learn more about NAHRA by listening to this interview with President Dan Hove on Northland Outdoors Radio.

Northland Outdoors traveled to Clear Lake on June 10th to film for Northland Outdoors TV. We also came armed with a still camera. Watch for the episode coming to Northland Outdoors TV and enjoy the pictures taken by Bret Amundson below.
